Web Design Agencies In Connecticut

Listed

Connecticut’s revenue department lists services “to create, develop, host or maintain all or part of a website” among taxable computer and data processing services, so add sales tax to your budget before comparing quotes. Five Connecticut companies appear below. They range from a Brookfield marketing agency with offices in other states to a two-town consultancy that sells month-to-month.

Company Base on its site Work it names Price it publishes
Mack Media Group Federal Rd, Brookfield SEO, PPC, web design, video Ask
Palm Tree Branding & Web Design Middletown Lead-focused sites, custom applications, ads Free quote on request
Fusion Design Downtown New Haven Web design, custom apps, support Ask

Web design agencies in Brookfield and Middletown

Mack Media Group

Mack Media says Scott Johnson started it after hiring marketing companies as a business owner, and it lists SEO, PPC, social media, web design, and video and photography production. It describes itself as a certified Google Partner, and its contact page shows offices in other states too. Ask which office would handle your account and who would be your contact in Connecticut.

Palm Tree Branding & Web Design

Palm Tree says Joe D’Ambrose founded it in 2004 and that it has done over 1,000 projects. It builds lead-focused sites, business efficiency tools and custom applications, and talks about a system it calls GoSystems. It says it serves all of Connecticut. Ask whether GoSystems is proprietary, and whether your site would still run on another host if you moved.

Web design agencies in New Haven

Fusion Design

Fusion Design says it is based in downtown New Haven and has worked with businesses and organizations since 2009. It offers on-demand website support and training as well as custom web applications, and it has a website questionnaire to begin a project. If you have an existing site with a nagging problem, ask about support work before a full rebuild.

Web design agencies in the Hartford area and eastern Connecticut

Hartford Web Design

Hartford Web Design serves the Capital Region and names James as founder, Jamie as operations lead and Adam on design. It lists web design, an SEO department and programming in technologies such as PHP and Java, and offers a free quote. Ask to see recent work and which platform your site would use, since its technology list is broad.

Innovast Digital Marketing

Innovast describes itself as an outsourced marketing department with no long-term contracts, and it says it has launched over 500 websites since 2015. It names Karen Etchells as its strategist and lists Farmington as its central Connecticut location. It hosts client sites on its own plan with daily backups. Ask for the notice period under its month-to-month terms, and how you would receive your site files if you leave.

Connecticut taxes website work

The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services page on services subject to sales and use taxes names “Computer and data processing services including but not limited to charges for online access to computer services, services to create, develop, host or maintain all or part of a website,” along with some canned software. The copy we read is an October 2026 archive. The list does not settle every case: the rate, what counts for business use, and how a mixed invoice is treated are all questions to put to DRS or your accountant.

In practice, ask each agency whether its quote includes Connecticut tax and at what rate, and whether hosting and support are taxed the same way as the build. A monthly care plan is part of the same question.

Connecticut’s online business search lets you check the legal name on a contract.

Out-of-state vendors and this short Connecticut list

Does an out-of-state agency skip Connecticut tax?

Don’t assume so. Ask the agency whether it collects Connecticut tax. If it does not, ask DRS or your accountant whether your business owes use tax on the purchase.

Why are there only five companies here?

We list a company only after reading its own site and finding a Connecticut base, so this is a working shortlist, not a census of the state.

Where each Connecticut firm fits

For one team across SEO, ads and video, start with Mack Media. Palm Tree fits a buyer who wants a lead-focused site with custom tools. Fusion Design suits a New Haven organization with an existing site or a custom application to support. Capital Region businesses can compare Hartford Web Design and Innovast, with Innovast the natural call if month-to-month terms matter most.

Details come from each company’s own home and contact pages as read in November 2026. What they say about their projects and experience is unverified, and listing them in this order ranks nothing.
