Web Design Agencies In Alabama
Listed
The clearest price split in Alabama runs from a $59-a-month site you build alongside a staffer in Montgomery to agencies that quote each project. Seven companies are below, across Birmingham, Montgomery and Huntsville. Before you sign, ask for programming to appear as its own line on the invoice, because Alabama’s software rule treats separately stated programming differently from purchased software.

Web design agencies in Birmingham
dandelion marketing
- Address: Birmingham, AL 35243
- Phone: 205-298-7655
- Email: alli@dandelionmarketing.com
- Website: https://dandelionmarketing.com/
dandelion describes itself as an outsourced graphics and web department for small businesses that do not need full-time marketing staff, and it marked its 25th anniversary in 2024. Web design sits alongside branding, email and SEO. That points to a standing relationship, so ask what a monthly arrangement covers and how many hours of changes it includes.
BLP Media & Design
- Phone: (205) 683-8383
- Email: info@blpmedia.com
- Website: https://blpmedia.com/
BLP calls itself a full-service creative, marketing and advertising agency and lists website design, photography and videography. Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport and the Alabama Historic Ironworks Commission appear among its named work. Its posted hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 9pm. If you run ads through BLP as well, ask to have the site quote stand apart from media spend.
Kinetic
- Address: 2025 Morris Avenue, Birmingham, AL 35203
- Phone: (205) 324-5858
- Website: https://kinetic.com/
Kinetic Communications says it has served businesses since 1995 and lists web design, custom application development, SEO and analytics. It routes new clients to a project inquiry form. A company whose site needs logins, data or a custom tool should compare it first, and ask who maintains that code after launch.
Web design agencies in Montgomery
Productive I.T.
- Address: Montgomery, AL 36116
- Phone: (334) 356-3561
- Email: support@productiveit.com
- Website: https://productiveit.com/
Productive I.T. says it was founded in 2006, has served about 1,500 clients, and is the parent of Creagency, JetSites, ProductiveSocial and Grow Your Therapy Practice. Under JetSites, a starter site is built live with a staff “Pilot” for free, then costs $59 a month, and revisions with a Pilot are $3 a minute. Creagency builds the site for you on a quote. Before you pick JetSites, ask whether you can export the site if you stop paying, since it runs on the company’s own platform.
Web design agencies in Huntsville
IG Webs
- Address: 2982 Elk Meadows Dr., Brownsboro, AL 35741 (mailing)
- Phone: (256) 679-4446
- Email: sales@igwebs.com
- Website: https://www.igwebs.com/
IG Webs markets custom design in Huntsville with real estate and ecommerce sites as named specialties, and client notes on its site point to Jim Gharib as the person doing the work. It offers a free quote form. Real estate buyers should ask which listing feed it connects to and who pays for that feed.
Keekee360 Design
- Address: 2113 Wedgewood Rd NW, Huntsville, AL 35816
- Phone: 256-468-6995
- Email: keshia@keekee360design.com
- Website: https://keekee360design.com/
Keekee360 is a graphic design practice whose owner reports over 15 years of experience. It lists WordPress, Joomla and Drupal for sites and Shopify and Magento for stores, plus logos and flyers, and offers a free 30-minute phone consult. It fits a business that wants print and web in one visual style. Name your platform up front, since this list is wide.
Hughes Web Designs & Marketing
- Phone: 256-653-7137
- Email: info@hugheswebdesigns.com
- Website: https://hugheswebdesigns.com/
Hughes says most of its WordPress sites range from $1,500 to $5,000 and that clients work directly with Eric Hughes. It says it does not own any of the hosting, recommends WP Engine, and helps you set up hosting in your own name. It offers separate maintenance plans. Ask for the maintenance fee at the same time as the build price, since hosting will be a separate bill in your name.
Alabama’s line between programming and software
Alabama’s rule on computer hardware and software, 810-6-1-.37, says that when the cost of software programming is separately stated on the invoice, the programming “is not subject to tax” because the charge is for professional services. Purchased or licensed software is a separate matter. The rule speaks of software and programming and does not mention websites, so whether your project counts is a question for the Alabama Department of Revenue or your accountant. In practice, ask each company to list custom work, licensed themes or plugins, and hosting on separate lines.
The Secretary of State’s business entity records let you look up the company named in your contract. The page also warns of complaints about potentially fraudulent business filings and says the office is not authorized to investigate business fraud, so treat a record as a starting point, not as proof of who you are dealing with.
Monthly fee or project build in Alabama
Is a $59-a-month site cheaper than a $3,000 build?
It depends on how long you keep it and what you need changed. Multiply the monthly fee by the years you expect to use the site, add expected revisions at $3 a minute, and compare that with a project quote and its hosting. Also compare what you can take with you when you leave.
Who should own the hosting account?
You should have the login in any case. Hughes builds that into its process, and with any other company on this list, it is a question to ask before signing.
Which Alabama company fits which job
A Birmingham business that needs a custom tool should start with Kinetic. One that wants an ongoing outside marketing department can compare dandelion and BLP. If budget rules everything and you can give the time, JetSites from Productive I.T. is the low-cost route in Montgomery. In Huntsville, Hughes suits a WordPress buyer who wants a published price range, Keekee360 suits a brand-and-print job, and IG Webs suits a real estate site.
We checked these seven in November 2026 on each company’s own home and contact pages, so what they say about themselves stands as their claim and not our finding. We did not number them because this is not a ranking.
