Web Design Agencies In Colorado
Listed
Seven of the eight companies below work from Denver or Colorado Springs, and the eighth is an Aurora practice, so most of this list is a choice of platform and budget more than geography. Published prices run from a $2,999 package to rebuilds that Blennd says fall between $20,000 and $60,000. Colorado’s state sales tax does not generally reach services, but home-rule cities can write their own rules, so check where your business sits.

After that, its hosting and maintenance service for existing WordPress sites starts at $65 a month. Since it can supply the hosting, domain and SSL certificate, ask that the domain be registered in your name.
Web design agencies in Colorado Springs
King Grizzly
- Website: https://kinggrizzly.com/
King Grizzly says it started as two brothers in Colorado Springs and now has team members in several countries. It builds exclusively on WordPress with Elementor, says full projects generally take two to three months, and works with marketing teams, design agencies and nonprofits. If your team already has a designer, ask about working with King Grizzly as the development partner.

Simplex says it has worked in Colorado Springs since 2005 and is based downtown, with office hours by appointment. It offers WordPress and Astro sites, hosting, help with hacked sites, and AI tools, and says it has served 150+ businesses and nonprofits. A nonprofit taking donations or selling courses should ask which systems it would connect and who holds those accounts.
Steck Insights
- Website: https://www.steckinsights.com/
Steck Insights describes itself as a small team of friends who each run their own freelance services for WordPress, with Brian as owner and founder. It sells custom WordPress sites, SEO and maintenance packages, and works locally and across the U.S. Ask who on the team would handle your project and who covers for them when they are out.

- Phone: (719) 533-0553
- Website: https://monarchdigital.com/
Monarch Digital calls itself a web application development agency, says it has been in business since 1996, and says its entire team is made up of US workers. It also supports legacy applications and serves as a subcontractor for internal teams. This fits a business with a system to keep running more than one wanting a brochure site, so ask whether it takes projects your size.
Web design agencies in Aurora
MelDev
- Address: Aurora, CO 80016
- Phone: (303) 328-1360
- Website: https://meldevwebsites.com/
MelDev says it has done digital marketing since 2012 and lists small business sites, ecommerce, multi-site builds, social media and local SEO, with a WordPress support plan after launch. It describes its pricing as moderate without a figure on the pages we read. Ask for the build and care plan as two numbers, and ask who owns the social accounts it manages.
Colorado’s state rule and your city’s rule
The Colorado Sales Tax Guide says the state tax applies to retail sales of tangible personal property and “does not apply to sales of services, except for those services specifically taxed by law.” It adds a warning for a mixed sale of goods and services, where the whole price can be taxable. The Department’s computer software topic sheet says software is not subject to sales tax when delivered through an application service provider, by electronic delivery, or by load and leave. That sheet is dated February 2021.
Neither page mentions web design, and both describe state tax. Self-collecting home-rule cities may treat software and services differently, so ask your city’s tax office, including Denver’s, how it treats a website contract.
The Colorado Secretary of State’s site holds business filings for checking a contract’s legal name.
Budget and platform decisions in Colorado
Is a $2,999 site comparable to a $20,000 rebuild?
They are different jobs. Compare page count, who writes the copy, integrations, and what happens in year two. Then decide which of those you need, because the lower figure includes a year of hosting on its own terms.
Do I need a Drupal developer?
That depends on your site. Colorado Digital describes roles, permissions and review workflows for teams, so ask what it would choose for yours and why, and compare that with a WordPress quote.
Picking from these eight
Teams with complicated publishing needs should begin with Colorado Digital or Monarch. A funded company planning a large rebuild can read Blennd’s ranges. If you want a small, fixed-price WordPress site, compare The Affordable Web Guy, Simplex and Steck Insights. Agencies needing a development partner can talk to King Grizzly, and an Aurora owner who wants a local contact can start with MelDev.
We read each company’s own pages in November 2026 for these details and have not verified what they claim. The sequence above is a layout choice, not a ranking.
