Web Design Agencies In Minnesota

Listed

Nine Minnesota agencies are below, and a useful filter is what your site must do after launch. Rochester’s CWS mentions HIPAA hosting and BrandHoot builds apps. In the Twin Cities, the choice runs from a coding partner for complicated builds to a WordPress shop that sells AI search work. The Department of Revenue treats fees for custom software as not taxable, while prewritten software is a different question.

Web design agencies in Minneapolis, St Paul and Hutchinson

Creative Arc

Creative Arc describes itself as an interactive design and development studio and offers to serve as an experienced development partner on complex work. Its named clients include American Photographic Artists National. If your marketing team already has a designer, ask about working on the code side only.

Plaudit Design

Plaudit calls itself a web design firm in Minneapolis and New York City, offering websites and internet marketing, and its work includes a site for Studio Eight. It has a separate support email for existing clients. Ask who would be your contact in St Paul, and what support costs after launch.

8bitstudio

8bitstudio markets as Minneapolis website design and SEO, with its street address in Hutchinson, and it says its work is hand-crafted by Minnesotans. Client notes mention Matt and Cici and a corrected Google listing. A small business with a Google listing problem can start there. Ask whether meetings happen in person in the metro or by call.

Web design agencies in Saint Paul and the wider Twin Cities

Studio2 Design + Digital

Studio2 says it has spent a quarter century on branding, packaging, logos and web design, with hosting and support through its Cinch Web Services arm. It also has an office in Holland, Michigan. A consumer product company that needs packaging and a site can use one team, so ask how the two are scheduled together.

Iceberg Web Design

Iceberg says it has been coding since 2005, has built hundreds of WordPress sites, and that its CEO is Jessi Gurr. It leads with responsive support and calls itself the website developers who answer the phone. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm. Ask which support plan is included and what response time you can expect in writing.

Feedbackwrench

Feedbackwrench offers itself as your outsourced marketing team under Rob, with messaging, web design and writing, paid ads across Google and social, and ongoing updates. It suits an owner with no marketing staff. Ask for a clear monthly scope, because “outsourced team” can mean very different hours.

ProWeb365

ProWeb365 says Phong Nguyen founded it in 2009 and that it serves the Twin Cities and communities across Minnesota. It builds WordPress sites and sells hosting, care plans and what it calls AI SEO, pitched around search through ChatGPT and Perplexity. Ask how it would show progress in those tools, and which parts of its care plan you could do yourself.

Web design agencies in Rochester

CWS

Corporate Web Services says founder Alan De Keyrel registered its first site on November 19, 1996, and that it has a tight-knit team of analysts, designers, writers and programmers. It lists HIPAA hosting. A clinic should ask for the business associate agreement and which systems that hosting covers.

BrandHoot

BrandHoot lists websites, apps and strategy, with honors including a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Ribbon award and Rochester Area Chamber Business of the Year, and it serves clients such as the Rochester Convention and Visitors Bureau. If you need an app and a site together, ask who supports each and how they share data.

Custom software and Minnesota sales tax

The Minnesota Department of Revenue’s guide to computer software and digital products says custom software “is a program created for the needs of a specific customer” and that “Fees charged for custom software are not taxable.” Prewritten software and many digital products are handled elsewhere in the guide, so a WordPress theme or a paid plugin may not get the same answer as a developer’s time. The guide does not name website design.

Ask your agency to list licensed products separately, and ask the Department or your accountant if you have a large purchase. The Secretary of State’s business search can confirm a contract’s legal name.

Metro pricing and patient data in Minnesota

Does an agency outside the metro cost less?

We have no published prices to compare from these nine. Ask for a quote from one metro firm and one outside it, with the same scope, and compare both on the cost of a year of support.

What if my site handles patient information?

Say so at the first meeting. CWS names HIPAA hosting, but any firm you hire should explain which forms and systems touch patient data, and sign the right agreement.

Who to contact first in Minnesota

Clinics near Rochester can begin with CWS, and companies needing an app can try BrandHoot. Complicated builds in the metro point to Creative Arc or Plaudit, and a product brand with packaging to Studio2. If phone support is your top priority, try Iceberg. An owner who wants a whole marketing function can talk to Feedbackwrench, a small business with listing trouble to 8bitstudio, and a WordPress buyer curious about AI search to ProWeb365.

These profiles rest on the companies’ own pages as of November 2026, and what they say about awards or results is their claim. This list is not ranked.
