Web Design Agencies In Louisiana

Listed

Louisiana widened its sales tax to digital products and some software services on January 1, 2025, which makes this a state where the invoice wording deserves a second read. Nine agencies follow, three each in the New Orleans area, Baton Rouge and Shreveport. Some were doing this work by 2001, while others pitch themselves mainly on AI search or inbound marketing.

Web design agencies in the New Orleans area

Rhino Web Studios

Rhino says it has worked since 2001 and has one physical office, in Slidell, while it serves businesses across the state. It promotes a content program it calls Castle of Content, and its site has a page for clients to pay their hosting bills. Ask what you would do with your site if you stopped that hosting.

Infintech Designs

Infintech says it is locally owned in the Lower Garden District, names Brian Hong as founder and CEO, and cites over 26 years of experience in SEO and web design. It advertises ranking on Google’s first page within 120 days. Get the exact terms in writing, including which keywords count and what happens if the date passes.

DP1 DESIGN

DP1 DESIGN says it was founded in 2001, runs one New Orleans team across AI search, web, hosting, social and ads, and uses WordPress “for builds you own outright” on its own dedicated servers with Cloudflare. Ask how you would move off those servers, and how it measures results in AI search tools.

Web design agencies in Baton Rouge

Gatorworks

Gatorworks says it is a company of Guaranty Media, and it pairs web design and hosting with digital marketing for clients locally and across the country. A business that also buys local broadcast could ask whether the group can coordinate. Otherwise, ask for a site-only proposal and a named project lead.

dezinsINTERACTIVE

dezinsINTERACTIVE describes itself as an award-winning, veteran-owned branding, web development and marketing agency established in 2000, and it runs workshops and webinars for business owners. Hours are 8 am to 5 pm Central. If you want to learn alongside the project, ask which workshop fits your stage.

BlinkJar Media

BlinkJar calls itself an inbound marketing company, and founder Jared Broussard appears in a Baton Rouge Business Report item about AI search. Content is central to how it pitches growth. Hire it for a site if you also plan to publish regularly, and ask how much of that writing your team would have to supply.

Web design agencies in Shreveport

Hemingway West

Hemingway West offers consulting and design across logos, websites, custom mobile apps and software, plus search and social marketing. It lists a Stonewall address too. Because app and site can come from one vendor, ask whether they share a login system and who supports each after launch.

Ruby Shore Software

Ruby Shore says it brings strategy, design, engineering and marketing together, with custom WordPress, Webflow and Shopify builds and managed hosting on AWS and Azure. It fits businesses that need software as well as pages. Ask which parts would be custom code, because that decides who else can support it.

Digital Logic

Digital Logic says it has served local businesses for over 20 years, puts PPC and content front and center, and promotes a law firm marketing toolkit. Its home page shows a running total of paid traffic. Ask for a web-only scope if you do not plan to advertise, and who owns the ad accounts if you do.

Louisiana’s 2025 change on digital products

The Louisiana Department of Revenue says that “Effective January 1, 2025, the Louisiana state and local sales and use tax applies to the sale or use of digital products, prewritten computer access services, and information services.” Its list of things that are not digital products includes “The representation of a professional service in an electronic form,” and digital products where the purchaser holds an intellectual property interest and uses the product only for commercial purposes.

Neither page mentions website design, so these do not settle your project. A monthly website-as-a-service plan, a licensed theme, and a design you own may fall in different places. We read both as 2026 archived copies. Ask the Department or a tax adviser, and ask your agency for separate lines. The Louisiana Secretary of State’s commercial search can confirm a contract’s legal name.

Design ownership and first-page promises in Louisiana

Should the contract say I own the design?

Yes, get it in writing. The Department’s exclusion above turns on an intellectual property interest, and ownership matters anyway if you ever move your site. Ask each firm what its standard contract says.

Does a first-page promise mean a safe bet?

Read the keyword list, deadline and remedy before relying on one. Then compare what you pay against an ordinary project quote.

Who to call first in Louisiana

Software-heavy projects in northwest Louisiana point to Ruby Shore, or Hemingway West for an app. Law firms can begin with Digital Logic. In Baton Rouge, compare Gatorworks for a larger group behind you, dezinsINTERACTIVE for branding and workshops, and BlinkJar for content-led growth. In the New Orleans area, compare DP1 with Rhino on hosting, and Infintech if search is the first goal.

Company details here come from their own pages as we read them in November 2026, and we did not test any result claims. The order means nothing about quality.
