Web Design Agencies In Georgia

Listed

Georgia’s revenue department says services are not taxed unless a service is specifically designated as taxable, which is worth settling before you compare website quotes. The ten companies below split into three markets: Atlanta, where the list runs from a national marketing agency to small teams; Augusta, where one option is mainly a video and brand shop; and Columbus, where one company focuses on home service businesses.

Web design agencies in Atlanta

Southern Digital Consulting Atlanta Web Design Services

Southern Digital Consulting is based in Macon and sells Atlanta work through its Atlanta service page. It says WordPress is its most common platform and that it also uses Webflow, headless CMSs and custom code. The page describes three unnamed Atlanta projects with percentage results. Ask to see the client names and the before-and-after data, and ask who would visit your Atlanta office if you want in-person meetings.

M16 Marketing

M16 says it has been headquartered in Atlanta since 2013, meets clients by appointment, and has a second Atlanta office on Peachtree Street. It also names hubs in other cities and says pricing is the same wherever a business is located. Web design sits among SEO, paid media, social and managed WordPress hosting, and campaigns run through its own PIEARM platform. Ask what you keep access to, including reports and data, if you stop using that platform.

Blue Light Labs

Blue Light Labs says it has worked since 2000. It lists corporate, ecommerce and small business sites plus phone and website applications, and it offers a free strategy session. Its North Georgia Business Connection project was a member web portal on WordPress with six months of planning. If you need member logins or a portal, ask for that project’s scope and who maintains it now.

The Creative Momentum

The Creative Momentum’s site carries a notice that CloudMellow acquired the company, and it also lists an office in Plano, Texas. It describes itself as a HubSpot Partner and says it builds 100% custom design, and it sets a monthly minimum spend from $750 on PPC. Ask who will run your account after the acquisition and whether your contract would be with The Creative Momentum or CloudMellow.

Web design agencies in Augusta

Alive Media

Alive Media says it has served Augusta and Aiken and North Augusta, South Carolina, for more than 20 years, with a mailing address in North Augusta. It lists branding and logo design, SEO, mobile readiness, and website management and support. If the same team will keep maintaining your site, ask for the monthly fee and response time in writing.

TranterGrey

TranterGrey calls itself a multi-Emmy award-winning independent creative agency, and video leads its work, with web strategy, UX, design and development listed under digital experiences. It fits a buyer whose site depends on film or a campaign. If your main need is a site alone, ask to see web projects as well as the reel.

Omega Digital

Omega Digital says it is located in Augusta, serves local and national clients, and connects businesses directly to the developers and SEO staff working on the account. It offers a free digital analysis. Ask who your direct contact would be and whether that person builds the site.

Web design agencies in Columbus

Stand And Stretch

Stand And Stretch says it runs on an AI-based marketing platform, with strategy and creative work handled by people, and names Lucas as founder. Its recent projects include Muse Kitchen & Bath Gallery and Jones-Onslow Membership Electric Corporation. It offers a free website review. Ask which parts of your copy and code an AI tool would produce, and who checks them before launch.

Vroooom Web

Vroooom says its corporate office is in Columbus and that it has branched out to Atlanta. Its site currently promotes a $300 credit toward any one-time development fee, and hosting is on its services list. Ask what the base fee is before the credit, and whether it is still offered when you request a quote.

Aletheia Digital

Aletheia focuses on home service companies and names roofing strategies, and it also lists an office in Wichita, Kansas. It says it checks accounts daily and gives clients one-on-one time. A roofer or HVAC owner gets the closest match here. Ask whether the site can stay live and in your name if you end the advertising work.

What Georgia’s tax rules say about a website bill

Georgia Letter Ruling SUT-2017-04 states: “Sales of services are not subject to the tax unless the service is specifically designated as taxable.” The ruling concerned online training products, not web design, and we found no Department document naming web design, so read it as the general rule and not as a clearance for your project.

Products are a different matter. Georgia Rule 560-12-2-.118, a rule on digital products that the Legal Information Institute shows as effective May 6, 2025, applies to Specified Digital Products, Other Digital Goods and Digital Codes, and it separately excludes Software as a Service. A licensed theme or plugin, a subscription, and a design fee may therefore not be treated alike on one invoice. Ask for line items, and take a specific question to your accountant or the Department of Revenue. The copy of the letter ruling we read is an April 2026 archive.

To confirm the company named on a contract, search the Georgia Secretary of State’s Corporations Division.

Distance and unpublished prices in Georgia

Does the agency need to be in my city?

Not always, but ask how meetings work. Southern Digital Consulting is based in Macon, TranterGrey in Evans, and Blue Light Labs lists Flowery Branch, so an in-person review may mean a drive.

How do I compare quotes when almost no one publishes a price?

Send each company the same page count, platform and content plan, and ask for build cost and monthly cost as separate lines. On this list only Vroooom’s credit and The Creative Momentum’s PPC minimum appeared on the pages we read, and neither is a site price.

Georgia first calls by what the site has to do

Video-led brands should start with TranterGrey, and home service owners with Aletheia. If you need a portal or an application, compare Blue Light Labs and Southern Digital Consulting’s custom work. A business that wants web and marketing under one retainer can compare M16 and Omega Digital, and an Augusta owner who wants a long-term local site manager can start with Alive Media.

Listings were checked in November 2026 on each company’s own pages. Results, awards and client statements are the companies’ own, and we did not audit them. The order of companies is not a ranking.
